Design within Reach

I was in a DWR Manhattan store yesterday and saw a diningroom table I'd love to get. It's the glass top Prism table. It is on sale right now but they want $450 to deliver and set it up! That's alot of dough. Anyone own this table or have any advice on how to negotiate a reasonable delivery price? I'd also be interested in any suggestions for a different glass table. I need a rectangular, contemporary design, seats about 6 to 8 people with a stainless steel or aluminum base. Thanks.

I tried West Elm but I haven't seen anything that fits the bill. The styling isn't want I want and the workmanship looks a liitle suspect to me. But thanks for the suggestion.
