| I wonder about the outgassing of any latex bed- as latex is made from a petroleum product I believe.
What do you know? I also saw the unhappy posts about Bragada- seems that that store/brand is not in good standing with many people. |

| Latex is not a petroleum product. In its purest form it comes from rubber trees in Thailand and other SE Asia countries. A 100% natural latex bed is expensive however, so its more common to see a mixture of pure latex and synthetic latex in ratios such as 70/30 for the build. Synthetic latex is made by polymerizing a monomer that has been emulsified with surfactants. Royal Pedic makes a 100% natural latex organic mattress under their ORGANIC line (not their standard line). It's as green as it can be, no man-made material in it. |
