Slipcover Fabric for down sofa?

very quick question:
I have no clue about sewing or furniture. I have a down blend, very soft and comfy sofa,by Michael Turner. I want to slipcover it. I am looking for recommendations for the fabric.
Please be specific, most sites or replyÃ¢ÂÂs I read say cotton or denim. I need to buy it and just saying that isnÃ¢ÂÂt enough. A link or a Ã¢ÂÂ#10 oz. duck canvas, pre-washed, before madeÃ¢ÂÂ is what I need.
We are going to get the cover made in white, for my home on the water. I love the beachy, all white look, I just donÃ¢ÂÂt know the fabrics, that will be comfortable, to get the softness from the down blend.

I suggest to aways get a sample or swatch of the fabric before making the actual purchase. A 100% cotton canvas is usually stiffer than a 100% cotton duck, no matter what the weight is. Softer the fabric the better it will feel.
