Antique Furniture Restoration Forum?

Posted by farmboy1 (My Page) on

My taste in furniture runs toward antique, as my house is also an antique at 118 years old.

Most of the posts I see here are related to newer items. I'm trying to match/retouch the existing finish on an older sofa, shown below.

does anybody have any good suggestions for refinishing the section below, or a good furniture restoring/refinishing forum?

Hi Farmboy1,

I'd suggest you also asking at the link below, or at The Woodworking Forum.

Here is a link that might be useful: Antiques Forum

I would try the Woodworking forumer here at GW. There are some very knowledgeable folks over there that should be able to help you.
