Thinking something along these lines? Also thinking if I choose option one would it look weird to paint the wood a green or blue color? Or should I stick to a safe neutral?

Is this love seat used frequently? If so, the first 2 fabrics are really not upholstery weight, they're designed for draperies and won't wear well. I don't know the third fabric.

I know these prints are used more for decorative furniture but I am drawn to them because I know my sewing machine will be able to do the job (once I have cording that ends up being four pieces sewn at once). Not sure how much this piece will get used as it is new to me.
But I am still desiring help with appearance. :)
