 o
levitz recliner

Hi, I bought a recliner from levitz in 2006, I bought the extended warrenty and the leather warrenty. I have had a repair man come out twice in the first 6 months. The darn thing just doesn't close right and I let them BS me that they are all made this way. Anyway, I can't even open the recliner now, it seems to be hitting the floor, and I know Levitz is no longer in business and I am not sure where the bill is with the warrenty info on it. I'm screwed right? Is there anything anyone can suggest. I hate to throw it out, I paid 900. for it.
Thank you,
Margaret

RE: levitz recliner

Look for the manufacturers label, or every piece of upholstered furniture should have a law label attached, many times its under the seat. Your next best bet is to contact the manufacturer for warranty problems, hopefully your recliner was made in the US. Wish you good luck with this.
