| Came across this Bernhardt piece being offered at a rather tempting price. I was told it was an old piece coming from a well known wealthy local family and has been in storage for the last ten years. Upon inspection, it instead had appeared to be rather newish ... I’m no expert at all, but it looks rather 80 ish and has absolutely no wear. The finish is a faux wood grain with speckled sprayed on markings to give the appearance of age. I had gone to the Bernhardt website, but had not found an email contact (maybe, I had not looked hard enough). I'd like to know the approximate age and the suggested value of the price. | I don't usually go for light colored furniture, but this is a beautiful quality display cabinet ... the photo doesn't do it the deserved justice. It is priced just under $2000 Canadian and is located near Edmonton, Alberta. Terry |
