There seems to be a general consensus that microfiber is a good idea if you have pets, and that it's very durable. However, I can't seem to determine if there is such a thing as Crypton microfiber. And is all microfiber 100% polyester? Does it pill? Are there various quality levels? Depending on what? Tightness of the weave, thickness? What should I look for to determine quality and/or have you bought fabric from a site that you are pleased with? Does it need to be backed? I'm planning to recover a couch. Please share your knowledge/recommendations/warnings with me.
