I am wondering if I should get my Lawson sofa recovered. It is an excellent piece of furniture from the 70's. The problem is, I have mission style furniture that will be in the same room (hutch). Will the pieces look ok together? When we purchased the sofa it was considered contemporary. I am thinking a tight weave fabric and put a tailored skirt on it. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

It would be helpful if you could post pictures. However, a Lawson Sofa is a pretty straightforward classic style and should mix well with the mission pieces.
