reupholstering hancock and moore chair-

Posted by rfla0430 (My Page) on

I have a H&M Austin high back leather chair and ottomman that needs to be recovered. Can someone tell me approximatley how much fabric I would need? The swatches I'm looking at have a one inch repeat. Is it worth it to have the chair recovered? It's in leather now; I've had it for eight years. I know how expensive these chairs are...
Thanks~ Robin

14 yards of fabric. Average reupholstery cost for that chair and ottoman (labor) about $ 500. Why does your leather need replacing on an 8-year-old piece? If you cleaned the hide periodically, it should last 20 years......

Um, unfortunatley, a kitten arrived in March '08 with very sharp teeth! And then a puppy came along in Nov. Thanks for your help!
