Thanks very much. We looked at Ikea this weekend -- it's definitely in the running and the price is right.

Now keep in mind I don't know if this is going in a $500,000 McMansion or a $50,000 fixer upper.

For ease of finding the stuff go with the Signature Design series by Ashley. It works. It should be cheap. It is generally particle board but what the heck, either she will take it with her when she moves out or she will not want it.

Perdue Woodworks http://www.perduesinc.com/default2.asp is generally about the same price and made in America. They just ship slower somehow.
