I've read that TP mattresses should last a bit longer than most others, or 10+ years or so. I've owned TP pillows, and they usually go dead in a year or two. What is it about the mattress that makes it last longer than the pillows?

we have had ours for 9years, and I think in the last year, it seems not quite as good as new. I was hoping it would last 15+ at the price paid!

We've only had ours for 2 years, but I love it!

We have had our Tempurpedic for about 10 years and more and it still feels comfortable. I would say one side of the bed has a little more body impression, (heavier person) than the other but overall it still seems to be going strong.
