Brands or styles? Both companies offer a wide range of styles that may or maynot be fitting to their tastes. I would go for the one that offered the best/easiest return policy, just incase your niece preferred a different style/size/finish.

I prefer DH but they're probably more expensive. Some Ethan Allen case goods aren't bad. Can you take a look at both and see which looks nicer to you?
