We have a leather sectional with two reclining sections from Lane. It is about 9 years old and has held up very well. The arms (both sat on and dog chin rests) could use some padding renewal and one plastic pull ring for the recliner release snapped, but other than that, it looks and still sits (or sleeps) great. VERY comfortable, solid frame and the perfect size and configuration for us. Don't know what we will do to replace it when the time comes.

Dr Max examine the cutaway and confirm the sofa is built in the same manner as the cutaway. If you determine this to be true it sounds like a good value. You might also want to investigate the quality of the leather. Study the tailoring. Perhaps the store has had it on the floor for a while and just wants to move it. Also confirm where the sofa was made. From my experience Lane makes an attractive product in their price range.
