I have not developed my color scheme yet and am looking for suggestions for color for my couch and two upolstered club chairs. My family room walls are a very muted yellow and my floor is almost cherry, one of the walls has a limestone fireplace. The room faces west and gets a lot of light which I like and faces the garden. I want the room to have a light airy feeling, yet the couch should not be too light as it gets a lot of use. The family room and kitchen are open to each other. The kitchen has ivory cabinets, granite which is also in the famiyroom bar is creams and browns, the floor porecelin whitish ( hard to describe) and My taste is traditonal/transitional.

Would love suggestions for a color scheme and types of fabrics. I see a ot of chenille which I do like, though I am open to suggestions. Would welcome any pictures of family rooms
