Shermag quality

How is the quality of their furniture? Their website states that they use global sourcing to stay competitive. I understand that to mean the furniture is produced in Asia. A few of the bedroom collections I've seen on their site appeal to me but I haven't yet seen anything in person. It's described as birch solids with maple veneer. Does anyone know what type of construction is used? I'm currently looking at Durham. Is Shermag even comparable? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Shermag is having problems and currently facing bankruptcy, maybe try Magnussem Home as an alternative, but many other comparable mid end bedroom manufacturers sourcing from China

I should have added that I knew they were facing bankruptcy. There is liquidation sale about 20 mins from my place, but out of my way. Wondering if it's worth the trip. Thanks for the Magnussen Home rec; I'm not familiar with their stuff. I'll go check out their website.
