| i want to somehow create a full size day bed for my daughter. usually day beds only come in twin size and there is a headboard and footboard of different heights. if i purchase a frame could i attach two headboards on the ends?
and should i purchase a wooden frame or metal? for some reason i think the metal frames are not as stable. at least that's been my experience. if the frame were wood wouldn't we just be able to attach the headboards with long screws? what do you think? any advice appreciated. thanks in advance! |

| I'm not sure if you are planning to make the various parts or find them somewhere. If you are going to make them, just buy some bed rail connectors. If you are going to buy them, they normally have a different type of connector. (click on "More Info" for installation instructions and usage. But I would agree with you -- there is normally less flex in wooden bed rails than metal frames. |
