You should do proper inquiry about the sofa and its stuff. Check other samples too and search online for more help.

That's a ridiculous price if it's true. I just bought a H&M chair in Grade II leather, and it's $2700 (which is hundreds less than many other stores would charge). It's likely just a floor sample, and it's been sat in a long time. If the frame is discontinued (not just the fabric), that'll explain why it's discounted--they cannot use it anymore as a sample of something you could buy.

Also, H&M specializes in leather, not fabric. That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with the sofa, but I'm sure the priority is having samples that are leather.

H&M makes a fine sofa, period. and i can remember a time not too long ago when they made a lot more upholstered pieces. i'm disappointed they've moved into mostly leather. it's not my taste. my H&M sofa was purchased about 12 years ago and it's still in fine shape. i'd like to get it reupholstered -not because anything is wrong with the fabric; but we've moved into a new home and i'd like to change it. the frame and springs are still perfect.

the spring down cushion is also an upgraded seat, i believe. H&M puts out a quality product, made in USA.

I don't think $2200 for a high quality sofa such as this one is out of line.
