Room&Board or King Hickory sofa

I've had my heart set on the Cameron Sofa from Room & Board for a couple of years now. I was drawn to the style of the sofa, and very interested in the way the fabric fibers are individually stain resistant (I was told that by the sales person). http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/product/detail.do?productGroup=20077&catalog=filter&menuCatalog=room&menuSubcategory=201198

I have two small children. Stain resistance, durability of the fabric, and something easy to clean are very important to me.

Then today, I happened to receive a flier in the mail for a local furniture store. For the heck of it checked out their website, and I saw what looks to be the identical sofa by King Hickory. http://www.kinghickory.com/products/sofas/7050.asp

Now I currently own a King Hickory Sofa, which I've had for about 15 years. At about the 9 year mark, after we had kids, we started noticing a lot of wear to the fabric. However, the fabric we purchased (pre-kids) was 100% cotton, and a very light tan color (think a pair of chinos). We recently had the sofa cleaned and whatever the company used, basically destroyed the fabric entirely. Therefore, we now will be replacing this sofa very soon. The bones of the sofa, the fill, etc, are still in good shape for 15 years. The only problem is the fabric.

So a couple of questions--

Any input on the quality of Room & Board vs. King Hickory?

Also, do you agree the two sofas look very much the same?

This next time around, I'm going with a dark or chocolate brown, and hoping to find a super durable fabric.

Any input welcome!
