I have matching glass top coffee and end tables that are a very nice quality but from the early 90's and just dont match my current decor. They have a metal base that is a shiny brass color. I would like to keep the tables if the base could be more of an antiqued black finish. Someone suggested I see if they could be 'powder coated'. I think this is done on car and cycle parts, but not sure if it could be done on furniture. Before I called a company about it, I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of how to refinish the metal base. Thanks.
