We are just in the thinking stage of replacing great room furniture with a Restoration Hardware leather sofa and loveseat. We have not purchased leather furniture before so really could use some help and advice.

I have read various articles on what to look for such as 8-way hand-tied springs and down with foam cushions. We are looking at the Lancaster 72" sofa and 60" loveseat. This is not a large room and the 72" will allow for end tables on either side with the 60" loveseat perpendicular to it with space between to enter the room. A sectional will not work.

Any and all advice on RH, Lancaster, and any of the leathers would be greatly appreciated. No matter where we buy it will be a lot of money and so far RH seems to fill the bill. How much superior, if at all, is Hancock and Moore?
