We are in the process of renovating our basement. We plan to have a white granite or marble counter and white cabinets that at times will be a beverage/snack/bar area at the base of the stairs.
1. Do we need drawers at the top of the cabinets? Not sure on the look of this.
We are also between styles either raised panel or shaker. Our house style is traditional and our decor is perhaps transitional (simple traditional with modern elements). Our stair railing will have box newels and we will also have crown molding in the basement.
