| I have a computer chair with a pneumatic lift. The lift works fine, but the plastic casing that holds the lift has moved down through the base of the chair and is now lower than the wheels. The chair rests on the center column instead of the wheels.
I did some research online and I'm going to get a rubber mallet tomorrow and try to whack the pieces back into place. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this problem. |

| Here's a company I use for parts like this. There is a lot of How-to on the site, and if you send a question with a photo, Don will be quick to offer suggestions. Good people to work with. That parts sounds like what is called the "hub liner." Disclosure: I'm only a customer there. |
