leather recliners

I need some suggestions on brands and websites (esp. discount websites!) to peruse for a nice, club-chair style leather recliner. I just began shopping around a couple of weeks ago and am pretty shell-shocked at the prices. I do want something that is of good quality but I don't want to have to spend a fortune. It seems like even $1000 isn't enough, plus I need to purchase 2. The cheapest I encountered were at Macy's by Italia (Natuzzi) for $799, but after researching that company more I am not impressed. I am looking for solid hardwood frames and top grain leather all around. Thanks for any suggestions, including brands I should stay away from.

HELP....I'm looking into leather sofas[sectionals]and my budget has lead me to either the FLEXSTEEL or the PALLISER line. I think I have all the info. I need on the FLEXSTEEL but I am having trouble with the PALLISER'S.

My local leather "specialty" store is telling me that "their" PALLISER'S are all made in Canada[I'm ok with that]. However, they are also telling me that when purchasing a PALLISER online[of course it's less money via the online store]all the sofas are made in Mexico,and you're not getting a quality product.

The online company[highly recommended] is telling me that 90% of all PALLISER'S are made in Mexico. Is this is true and if so, does a sofa made in Mexico really mean your getting less quality?? THANKYOU!!!!!
