| Im not sure what happened to my original post- didnt show up. So here we go- some years ago, I removed the 8x8 tiles with the black cutback adhesive. I used Lestoil and lots of hot water to get what looked like most if not all the black gunk up. Then I primed with a latex primer and used latex paints to create a faux tile. Topped it w/ a water based clear sealer. Now that the kitchen is getting a remodel, i need to get that paint off. I really dont want to create more dust. Is sanding/grinding my only option to get this floor tile ready? |
