| Hi everyone...
I am a mere few days away from having my new, unfinished yellow pine floors finished. The little I have read, seems to recommend just clear coating them. Has anyone had any experience with tinting yellow pine? Also - I am doing a "beach cottage" style and am not sure, IF it can take a tine, what color tint to use? I am open to any and all suggestions. I am a desperate woman. Thanks everyone! |

| You can color yellow pine; we usually call this "staining"...however, you might find a professional finisher who might agree to "tint" your floor coating to give the yellow pine a warmer look. You're talking custom finishing and that will cost some money. |
