Shaw Engineered Toccoa Question

Has anyone used this product, SW 451? It is 6 3/8 inches wide and 3/8 inches thick "Epic Engineered" in Maple with a dark stain called Blackwoods. The price is right and I am considering it for the first floor of my home (not the basement), including my kitchen, sunroom, great room, powder room, etc. It has a lifetime warranty and the ScufResist is supposedly a very strong coating that protects against scratches, etc. Any experience with this product or any other Shaw Engineered hardwoods is welcome.

The wear layer is 3/8" or entire flooring is 3/8"? The first is pretty good. The second is really awful.
