Cutting vinyl planking

We're helping DSS install Shaw resilient vinyl plank flooring in his house this holiday. The "score and snap" is working fine on the short cuts, but on 2- or 3-sided cuts, as we go around corners or heat vents, it's quite a bit more painful. We're scoring on both sides and then gently bending back and forth to get the cut piece out without breaking along the whole width of the plank. The cuts along the long side (equivalent to ripping them down) are a pain as well, due to the long straight score needed and the relatively skinny piece available to bend/snap.

What tools/techniques to the pros use to make these cuts? Is there a blade I can use on the jigsaw that won't mess up the vinyl (or the saw)?
