cutting vinyl planking

We're helping DSS install Shaw resilient vinyl planking in his house this holiday. The instructions all say "score and snap" and that works just fine on the straight cuts. But when we have to make 2- or 3-sided cuts to go around corners or vent openings, it's a slow, painful process. We're scoring on both sides and then carefully bending back and forth to get them to pop out without breaking all the way across. Ripping them down the long side is a pain as well (long, straight score, not as easy to bend/snap a narrow edge).

Is there a tool that can make these kind of cuts on vinyl more easily? Surely the pros have some tricks that make this simpler.
