Sanded Wood Floors But Still Have Pet Stains. Solutions?

Hi!

We ripped up the carpet in the 1957 brick ranch we just bought. For the most part the floors were in great shape except one area, the dining room of all places, where previous owners obviously let pet urine seep in.

We wanted to refinish the floors anyway, so first we let some hydrogen peroxide sit on the stains in an effort to pull them out. It helped a little, but mostly just removed the floor's finish. Then we sanded, but there are still a couple of minor darker spots left. It wasn't worth it to sand the entire area again (unfortunately the dining room is open to the huge living room so to take care of these smaller spots we'd have to sand the whole floor again).

Is replacing those boards our only option? Is it safe to try hydrogen peroxide (or another removal method) on the raw wood? If we stain or just use Waterlox to finish, that will probably make the darker spots stand out even worse, right?
