I recently installed an engineered floor in a basement. 3/8 x 5 5 layer ply. Was not a snap lock. I did not glue the tongue and grooves as I have read of several creaking issues, so the floor is simply locked together and floating. It has a cork/vapour barrier underlayment with all the joints taped. Would you expect any issues with this? The only physical difference between this floor and the locking system is the lock on the narrow ends.
