We just installed a QuickStep Versque floor in Sept. From the day after installation I have found scratches on the floor. Some are pretty deep and look like the installer might have put a tool box on the floor an scooted it around. It seems that every time the sun shines on the floor I can find more scratches. The installer came by after about a month of phone calls and said that our two 10 pound dogs were causing the scratches and that he could buff them with lemon oil.
I bought this floor because the salesman said it was virtually indestructible. I know people who have laminate and they say they love it.
I am going to file a claim with the manufacturer so that I can get a rep out here to tell me is this is normal wear and tear.
Am I being too particular? Can a 10 pound dog cause scratches in this floor?
