I used Carlisle wide plank flooring Quatersawn oak several years ago and still love it. In fact, I'm planning on tearing out the wooden floors that the builder installed in my lake house and replace them with Carlisle too. I would attach a picture but I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and there is concrete dust on my beautiful floor:(

My families business (I work elsewhere now), Gaylord Hardwood Flooring, does wide plank white oak in widths up to 11.5 inches wide. If you are looking for something really wide in a custom color, they can make it happen, as they manufacture everything. Obviously I am a bit biased, but it doesn't hurt to order a sample and see what the product is like. They've been doing it since 1985, so something has to be going right!
