| Need help with pre-finished hardwood flooring. Does anyone recommend a brand that minimizes footprints and stains. I want a dark brown oak floor. I have previously put a dark hardwood in that was a nightmare ... you could not walk in bare feet or spill even a drop of water without noticing. I was down on my hands and knees cleaning everyday and don't want that to happen again |

| That's a function of the darkness of the floor. If you want to minimize those issues, don't choose a dark floor. |
