Floor Saver Pan for under dishwasher

Has anyone used on of these products? We have wood floors throughout kitchen. We are moving DW to a different location as part of a remodel. Now thinking about potential leaks and if this product works. I just found the product on-line, but didn't know if anyone else has it or if works as advertised. Thanks!

Just get the flood safe connectors and a water alarm. A pan does zero good unless connected to a drain, and then a small leak can go unnoticed until it's a bigger problem than the drain can handle.

The purpose of the floor pans I've seen is actually to route any small leak out the front, where it will be noticed rather than allowing the water to gradually penetrate under the floor. Moisture sensors might be a better idea.
