Envi Engineered Brazilian Cherry

I'm thinking of using this flooring because I like the color, but I can't find any reviews on it and I'm concerned that it only has a 2MM wear layer. I'm a flooring newbie. I've gotten countless samples from other companies but haven't found anything as dark of a brown as this Envi in smooth engineered. Does anyone have any knowledge of this product? Thanks.

What I can find thru looking it seems to be an import (probably China) Which would be a no go in my opinion....

Did you find this info on the internet? I haven't had much luck searching for information and would like to see what kind of helpful web pages are out there.

I just got a sample of Elegance in the mail that has a great color, but I've read some bad reviews on it and the sample they sent actually has a big crack in the bottom layer. I'm guessing that's a sign that I shouldn't go with the Elegance either. Thanks.

Another question for you, Millworkman. Are all Chinese hardwoods bad?

I found a link that said Envi was made by Easoon, USA. What does this mean? Thanks again.
