Inexpensive hardwood flooring for kitchen...

Looking to replace kitchen flooring (self adhesive vinyl tile that is chipped and looks bad) with hardwood/something comparable. We plan to sell within five years, so we really don't want to spend more than we need to. We will install ourselves. We also plan to paint kitchen cabinets and replace counter top with a new laminate. Looking for flooring recommendations....not crazy about the look of wood laminate.

I did a lot of research and found that I got a the best deal on my hardwood flooring at www.floormingo.com. They had great customer service and good follow-up. I called to check availability of product just to make sure it was available; you should do the same.

Here is a link that might be useful: Floormingo

Be sure not to lock the dishwasher under the counters with a added height of the new flooring.
