Place felt pads on the bottom of all of your furniture, and keep those renewed regularly. Once scratched, it's permanent. It's NOT repairable. You can damp mop, but that means if you can wring any water out of the mop at all, it's too wet. Dust mopping regularly is the best daily upkeep, and only damp mopping if something is spilled or once a month or so.

I agree with GreenDesigns. Damp mop with as little water as possible. Do not use any spray cleaning solutions like the one that Swiffer offers. You're libel to end up with streaking.
