| I need to replace an old tile floor - but just found out that any new flooring that results in a higher floor will impact all of the doors in my house (including the front door - a double steel door with glass inserts that I love) - the front door won't be able to be opened (unless there is something that can be done??) I have a 1/2 inch plywood subfloor with 1/4 inch tile over it (no backer board). I wanted hardwood - but that doesn't seem doable at this point...what are other options that would look good and not raise the floor to new heights!?@#$
THANKS!! |
