 o
Stability of Eucalyptus (Lyptus) Flooring?

Posted by scotttyb (My Page) on

We found some flooring we really like from a company in Austin, TX called HardwoodBargains.com and it is a Stranded Eucalyptus wood and it is very beautiful and "very" hard. Has anyone installed Eucalyptus or Lyptus flooring in their home and if so how do you like it? Has there been any problems, such as gapping, buckling, or warping? How long have you had it installed? It is so hard to find any reviews on this type of wood. One big concern is it's stability, as I live very close to the Ocean in a very humid part of the country (Alabama)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

ScottyB

We are also considering Lyptus and would love to hear any experiences.
