Muskoka vs Somerset Homestyle prefinished hardwood?

5 years ago we installed Muskoka 3/4" Clear Red Oak prefinished hardwood flooring in our kitchen and family room. We like the appearance of this floor and it has held up pretty well.
Now we are ready to add more hardwood throughout the rest of our main floor. We need approximately 800 sq feet. The installer is quoting approximately $8400 for this floor.
As an alternative, he suggested the Somerset Homestyle collection for about $6700.
Saving $1700 would be nice, but would these two woods work together? They would butt up against each other in only one 3' doorway, but through that doorway you can see from one end of the house to the other.
To me, quality is even more important than visually matching the two floors. I cannot find many reviews of Muskoka, but I have read some concerns about Somerset.
Does anyone have experience with these two companies? Is it worth the higher cost to stick with Muskoka?
