| He pulled up all of the tile, but the mortar or thinset is still there. I asked him if he was going to ground all of that down. He said he was just going to pour a cement overlay or leveler down. Is this right? It's like peaks and vallies in there. Let me know as soon as possible. Thanks. |

| Well, it is not how I'd do it, but that is just me. It is quicker, less labor, blisters and less dust than grinding off the thinset mortar. It will add height to what you have now. |
