Asbestos floors in our house- was tested

Hi,
We wanted a new floor in our kitchen but there are 3 layers of vinyl. We had the top layer installed but in an old house like ours needed to get the floors tested before removing them.

The bottom layer ---old, old blue tiles with tar paper had none; the middle layer from the 80's? was 25% asbestos. It only cost $35 each to have the bottom two layers including the tar paper, tested.

Under the floors is a hardwood floor...hopefully maple like the rest of the house, so we plan on having that refinished instead of getting a new floor. We have not had the other maple floors resanded or finished in 26 years and they could finally use it after dogs, cats and 4 kids...but they are not too bad. So I am not worried about having wood in the kitchen! I will post a picture this weekend after the layers are removed on Friday...

In the picture the brown floor had asbestos and the others did not.
