Hi all,

I have been looking at beautiful Moroccan cement tiles for the kitchen, but I saw another thread here where someone had installed cement tiles, sealed them, but they were still staining like crazy. They may have been improperly sealed, but I ordered a sample sealed tile, put a few drops of olive oil and a little vinegar on it, and washed it off pretty quickly--and it had already stained the tile.

So, I'm looking for feedback from homeowners who have some form of cement surface in their kitchen. Has it stained? If not what did you use to seal it? Are you happy with it? Regret the choice?

There are some beautiful tiles out there, but I wonder if the kitchen is the place for them...
