I had new carpet put in two rooms. Both over synthetic padding, juke like. Recently in one room the carpet now feels crunchy when you walk over it bare footed. Kind of like walking on sand on the beach. In the other room it is fine. We have not finished these areas with furniture, so they get very little foot traffic and it has never been cleaned...remember, it's new... about a year. I had the installer come back out and of course he can't feel it, nor understands the problem and speaks very little English. Frustrated. We have an inspector coming in about 10 days to look over. Any thoughts?
