| Hello everyone!
I currently have carpet on my ground floor which is concrete slab. I don't want carpet or hardwood on this level. Do any of you know how the cost of staining and polishing the concrete compares with the cost of tiling? Thanks in advance for any help! |

| Tile is cheaper. Which of course is in relation to which kind/type of tile you choose. I don't know where you live but tile on a slab foundation is very hard underfoot and also very cold. Due to the slab, you couldn't have hardwoods, but engineered wood or laminate would be a few choices. |
