This is my first post on the forums but I am in desperate need of some opinions. We hired a tile installer that we found on HomeAdvisor that had good reviews. Everything was going great until we arrived home tonight to see the tile layout.

We had discussed pattern and orientation but not where they would start from. Well they started from the back wall of the room and ended up with about a two inch sliver at the transition right when you walk into the kitchen from our living room and also right in front of our back door. I find this to be completely unacceptable and against all the standard tile procedures that I have found online about starting at the center of the room. It hasn't been grouted and we are calling in the morning to tell them to halt the install. What can be done if anything??
