Black and White Marble Floor... what will go with it?

I have a black and white marble floor in my kitchen and I am looking to replace the carpeting in the living area. I want to do hardwood (Pergo) but I am unsure of what would look good up next to this marble floor.

When you have a natural stone floor, you don't want to mix it with fake wood.. Something in a medium toned wood would be appropriate. A classic oak or maple. Something domestic and not too dark.
