| My wife says that she's seen many good comments about the Novalis peel-and-stick tile flooring, so I have to post my own observations. We put down the large (I believe 18") tiles in our last home. I hated them. I was very careful in preparing the subfloor and trimming the tiles to fit around corners, etc. Nonetheless, a great many corners began to come up within weeks of their application. Heavy traffic areas showed a wearing away of the surface finish after the first year (revealing a stark white surface beneath). To put the house on the market, I had to go back and replace about 30% of the tiles I'd installed only two years before. Very disappointing! |
