Trenched slab, now seal?

As part of a kitchen remodel, my slab foundation was trenched to move plumbing. I love my glued down engineered wood flooring (Lauzon sapele) and am going to have it threaded back in over damaged areas.

It seems that I remember some choices when it came to the glue and/or leveling compound used in the initial install. We have to worry about insects, and moisture, in Florida. And the guy trenching mentioned that he smelled the original termite barrier (which was surely disturbed).

What should be done to the (now filled with concrete) trench and surrounding area before the flooring is repaired to guard against water, bugs, and mold?

Thanks for sharing your expertise!
